Valentines 2022 Narumayo Zine
What is the Narumayo zine?
The Narumayo Zine will be a fanmade collection of original art and written works, specifically focused on the relationship between Phoenix Wright and Maya Fey. We aim to release on Valentine’s Day, in celebration of this pairing and the enduring care and loyalty it embodies.
The title of this zine will be “Justice for All, Happiness for Two.”
Participants will be invited to a Discord server where they will be able to meet fellow shippers as well as remain updated on zine developments. Don’t have a Discord account yet? Make one here: https://discord.com/register
What is the end product?
The goal is a digital zine, available online as a PDF file that anyone will be able to download, completely for free.
Who can contribute?
We are looking for 50 artists and writers (25 each), who are passionate about Narumayo and want to create for the ship. We are hoping to achieve as even of a split as possible between writing and art in the Zine, but that will depend entirely on the applications we get. We invite first-timers to apply, too!
What are the parameters for submitted works?
This Zine will feature A4 sized art pieces and 1-2k word long written works. Please note that works for the zine should be original, new, and SFW.
Is non-canon/AU/crossover material allowed?
Please keep things official! This means that pieces based on the original Ace Attorney series and its spin-offs are allowed, and so are pieces based on official, non-canon crossovers like Marvel vs. Capcom 3 and Professor Layton vs. Ace Attorney.

Nov 20: Applications open
Dec 2: Applications close
Dec 3: Emails sent, Server opening
Dec 10: Idea Check
Dec 20: 1st Check
Jan 3: 2nd Check
Jan 24: Final Check
Feb 14: Release completed Zine
